About the workshop
The workshops take place in different destinations around the world throughout the year. They are organised for a limited number of participants, both professional and amateur photographers who enjoy combining photography with the joy of the journey. The challenge is to bring out each photographer’s unique glance.
The methodology is based on editing. The participants shoot during the day and gather up for the editing meetings during the evening. Through the selection and discussion of the day’s images, the participants have the opportunity to see their technique evolve and their overall approach improve day by day. The introductory meeting is dedicated to portfolio reviews and overall planning.
Equipment: A digital camera with preferably one prime lens of the participants choice, and a computer.
What to expect
On the Road begins with a one-to-one portfolio review, so Nikos understands your work and what you want from it. You then photograph on your own each day, and the group meets every evening to go through the day’s work and edit together — learning to see, and to choose your own pictures.
Participation & Cancellation Policy
- Registration: Once you decide to register, you are expected to make an advance deposit in order to secure your spot.
- Travel arrangements: We recommend booking flexible travel and considering travel insurance.
- If a Workshop is Canceled: On rare occasions, a workshop may need to be canceled or rescheduled, due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, your registration fee can be fully transferred towards
- a) any future workshop
- b) portfolio review
- c) mentoring session of your choice within the next 12 months (subject to availability)
- d) books or prints, or
- e) to someone else as a gift.
- A Note: Our workshops are built on trust and shared experience. This policy is designed to keep things fair and sustainable for everyone, while giving you flexibility to stay connected if plans shift.
